The THOMAS Recruitment Group is currently recruiting a Van driver (3.5 tonne) for a leading engineering and fabrication manufacturer specializing in the global automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway, and industrial sectors, based in West Bromwich (B71). You will be joining an established business with over 140 years of experience in the manufacturing industry that will continuously support your development. This is an on-going temporary opportunity for the right candidate.

Your Shifts:

• Full-time
• 7:30 am – 04:30 pm
• 07:30 am – 12:30 pm on Fridays
• Monday to Friday
• Temporary role

Your Pay Rate:

• Under 21s: £10.63 p/hour (Overtime rate after 38 hours £11.91 p/hour)
• 21s & Over 21s: £12.21 p/hour (Overtime rate after 38 hours £13.68 p/hour)

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Multi-drop, 4 to 15 drops a day.
• Transporting company assets from the factory to the customer's address.
• Complete the job list as assigned during the morning brief and work from a job sheet.
• General warehouse duties if required.

Could this be you? The ideal candidate:

• Full UK driver’s license with 3.5 Tone entitlement (CAT B)
• No more than 6 points on your Driving License with no CD, DR, or DD convictions.
• Experience as a van driver is essential (minimum 6 months).
• Counterbalance forklift license would be advantageous.
• Fully flexible to assist with business needs.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude.
