Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team based in Pontyclun.

This role involves working within a fast-paced production environment, operating machinery, supporting the manufacturing process, and ensuring products are produced to a high standard. An FLT Counterbalance licence is highly desirable, as the role includes moving materials and stock around the site.

Shift Pattern:

• 12-hour shifts
• Monday to Thursday
• One week on days followed by one week on nights (rotating)
• Additional Sunday shift available before night shift rotation, paid at overtime rates

Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: £12.87 per hour
• Night Shift: £15.45 per hour
• Overtime: £19.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating machinery on the production line
• Assisting with the manufacturing and packaging of products
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
• Loading and unloading goods using an FLT Counterbalance truck
• Moving stock and materials safely around the site
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence highly desirable
• Previous experience within a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment preferred
• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a strong work ethic
