Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team in Cardiff on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent position after a successful probationary period.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the smooth running of daily warehouse operations, including goods-in, order picking, packing, and dispatch. This is a hands-on role that requires accuracy, teamwork, and a proactive approach.

Duties

• Receive, check, and safely store incoming stock.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery.
• Carry out stock checks and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts – if trained/licensed).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement within the warehouse.

Skills

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience desirable, but not essential – training provided.
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties.
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills.
• Team player with strong communication abilities.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Forklift licence is an advantage but not required.
