Warehouse Operative

Location: Yate
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-3.30pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse operation in Yate. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to secure a long-term position with a growing company.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual handling of finished goods and raw materials.
• Physical movement and storage of materials within the warehouse.
• Processing warehouse transactions in SAP, including:
• Goods movements
• Material consumption
• Picking and packing activities
• Performing cycle counts and supporting inventory accuracy.
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse housekeeping.
• Following all site safety procedures and promoting a Safety First culture at all times.

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system for warehouse transactions.
• Good attention to detail and inventory control practices.
• A proactive approach to safety and housekeeping.
• Forklift licence/certification would be highly desirable, although not essential.
