We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Supervisors based in Nantgarw. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in leading warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and smooth day-to-day running of the site.

What will you be doing?

• Supervising a team of warehouse operatives, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Overseeing daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, despatch, and goods-in.
• Allocating tasks and monitoring performance to meet operational targets.
• Ensuring all health & safety procedures and manual handling standards are followed.
• Managing stock control, including cycle counts and investigating discrepancies.
• Liaising with drivers, couriers, and transport teams to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
• Reporting operational updates to senior management and identifying areas for improvement.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
• Handling performance issues, conducting briefings, and motivating the team.
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation, and cleanliness within the warehouse.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Operative.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good knowledge of warehouse systems and processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety practices and compliance requirements.
• Flexible, reliable, and hands-on approach.

Pay Rate:

• £14.42 per hour

Shifts:

• 5am-3pm or 2pm-12am  
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• Start date 07.09.2025
