Job Overview

We’re looking to appoint a Warehouse Supervisor to drive continuous improvement and efficiency across warehousing and distribution, consistently delivering more for less.

Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate’s remit will be to ensure customers receive the best quality product, delivered on time every time.

We’re looking for someone who can make the most of our systems and technology, support the development of others through coaching and structured planning. You might come from a background in logistics, warehousing, sales or administration — what matters most is your ability to influence others, deliver outstanding customer service and make things happen.

This role comes with excellent career progression opportunities, comprehensive training, and support for personal development.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising the use of staff and material resources including warehouse space, racking and the delivery fleet.
  • Prioritising, allocating and monitoring workload to ensure material is always processed and delivered to customers on time.
  • Operating clear systems and procedures, and regularly monitoring them to ensure all staff are aware of expected standards.
  • Training, organising and motivating a competent team capable of providing an efficient service to both internal and external personnel and customers.

Qualifications

  • A positive “can do” attitude, with drive, determination, tenacity, and a sense of urgency.
  • Open-minded, quick to learn, with initiative and a desire to seek out new ideas and approaches.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills — able to ‘make things happen’.
  • Leadership skills — able to positively influence and achieve results through others.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse and logistics functions.
  • Excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills.
  • Ability to continually develop the team to ensure they are multi-skilled and flexible.
